Pedu Lake is a man-made lake, as known as Tasik Pedu, is located in Padang Terap District, Kedah. It covers an area of 75 km². It is a drainage of Sungai Pedu channeled by the government to cover the drinking water supply to the people of Kedah State. The hills above Sungai Pedu constitute the border area of ​​Thailand. Lake Pedu is an artificial lake that covers an area of ​​75 square kilometers and has a depth of approximately 100 meters.

The red earth of the banks contrast with the others lake in the area. Lake Pedu is renowned for its bujangs who seems to be among the most powerful you will ever cross.
