Horizon Fishing is a french non-lucrative association.

Its objectives are :

- Bring together international anglers driven by a passion for travelling and fishing.

- Promote sport fishing of species little known to the general public and highlight them in order to attract the attention of public authorities to environmental, tourist and economic interests of preserving these fish.

- To be able to participate in actions aimed at preserving the environment through cleaning campaigns, by monitoring abusive processes or helping to change the uses in order to protect the fish and their environnements.

Projects

Horizon Fishing will first focus on the Toman (Giant Snakehead).

Malaysia is the first country selected to create an initial contact with a network of local sport fishermen, with the aim of learning as much as possible about this fish and bringing it to the attention of a European public. â€‹â€‹

- Documentaries : The association's first mission is to communicate about this endemic fish from Southeast Asia through documentary films and magazine articles.

- Catch report compilation : The association initially wishes to record all catches in order to learn about the status of the Giant Snakehead population in their range. This will then allow its evolution to be monitored.

- Develop specific equipment for preserving fish during capture and thus optimize its release in good conditions. This will be made in collaboration with local brand and anglers.
